Dioptase crystallizes forming emerald green masses, prismatic crystals, and crystalline aggregates. It is a relatively rare mineral and is found in only a few localities. The most beautiful dioptase is said to come from Tsumeb, Namibia. It is one of the best healing stones of the age.
