Sagenite is a form of quartz or agate which contains inclusions of, or vacant structures which no longer contain needle-like rutlie, black tourmaline, goethite, stibnite, asbestos, actinolite, hornblende, or epidote. This section covers all properties of all the forms of sagenite.

The included material (or vacated structure) acts like a net to snare and to remove “muddy” areas in the aura. It also used in shamanic healing ceremonies to remove the negative spirit which residing in the area of disease. Carrying sagenite, while smudging, produces a doubly powerful positive energy, encouraging the radiance of the positive white light to shine in all areas of ones environment. It can also be used to cleanse and clear other minerals.
